In the face of adversity, the quest to find a cure for men's breast cancer stands as a beacon of hope and determination.  Empowered by the strength of solidarity,  we strive to create a global community, providing resources and support to bolster the efforts of those on the frontline of the battle against men's breast cancer. Together, we forge a path towards a brighter future, where lives are saved and quality of life is preserved.

The Journey

The idea of a way to promote awareness of male breast cancer was something John’s

wife Linda had strong feelings about, however, was unsure of how or where to start on

such a big idea. During a conversation Linda had with good friend Candy, the idea

started to gain momentum. Soon after John’s passing, this momentum gained speed

and started to take shape. Linda and Candy pitched the idea of starting a foundation to

Rhea and Jennifer. Both were excited to join this journey in hopes that others may learn

about male breast cancer and be advocates of change and awareness. During Fall

2022, the four collaborated, partnered, and gained knowledge on creating and

establishing a foundation to meet their vision, mission, and goals. Their hard work and

dedication lead to the launch of the John L. Killian Foundation in January 2023. The

John L. Killian Foundation hopes to promote, educate, and provide resources about

male breast cancer. Remember, timing is everything!
